Role Summary
As a Production Line Lead at BCI, you'll play a crucial role in assisting the Production Supervisor in the setup and operation of one or more production lines. You'll guide, train, and motivate employees to achieve optimal performance, maintain quality and production standards, and ensure a safe and clean workspace.
A Day in the Life
- Efficient Setups: Assist in line setups that optimize each employee's performance while maintaining production efficiencies.
- Quality Assurance: Uphold quality standards defined by the Bill of Material (BOM) Specifications, as administered by the Quality Control team.
- Data Management: Enter labor, production, and quality data accurately to support our operations.
- Team Empowerment: Empower, mentor, and energize team members to efficiently execute their assigned duties.
- Reporting and Documentation: Promptly report any employee behaviors, incidents, or accidents to the supervisor and document employee activities as required by the Program Department.
- Safety First: Maintain a safe, orderly, and sanitized workspace that reflects our commitment to excellence.
- Leadership: Act on behalf of the Supervisor when directed or in their absence.
Experience & Qualifications
- High School Diploma or G.E.D. required.
- Basic to intermediate Microsoft Office skills required.
- 1-2 years of leadership experience in a manufacturing setting preferred.
- Prior experience working with people with disabilities preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills required.
Location
St. Peters, Missouri
Schedule
Full Time only: Monday - Thursday: 7:00am - 3:30pm; Friday: 6:00am - 2:30pm
Pay
$18 per hour
