Production Line Laborer NIGHT SHIFT

Responsibilities

• Prepare and sort various wire for pre-shred
• Identify and remove non conforming materials that will contaminate the production batch
• Maintaining a clean workstation and production floor
• Assembling packaging for outbound materials
• Following production guidelines and specifications
• Finalizing and packing products for shipment
• Operating and maintaining machinery and production line equipment
• Monitoring the assembly line and removing faulty products
• Working on the production line and meeting production targets
• Reporting any issues to the supervisor on duty.
• Performing other tasks as assigned
• Following health and safety standards

Requirements

• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
• HS Diploma or Equivalent
• Physical ability to lift heavy objects (up to 75 pounds) and other physical activities for extended periods of time
• Ability to work outdoors with exposure to the sun and incremental weather
• Must be able to pass a background check, drug screening, and physical

Skills

• Use of hand and power tools, computers, forklifts
• Ability to work safely and properly follow all company policies
• Ability for sitting, standing, walking, forward bending, climbing, squatting, lifting, kneeling, pulling/pushing and reaching
• Ability to be self-directed, with minimal supervision
