About the role

The Production Lift Driver position plays a crucial role in supporting daily packaging operations at Victory Brewing's Parkesburg, PA facility. This role ensures the efficient movement of materials and supplies to maintain uninterrupted production schedules.

Responsibilities

• Execute daily material handling activities in support of bottling, canning, and kegging operations.
• Load and unload raw materials, packaging supplies, and finished goods at brewery loading docks.
• Transport and stage packaging materials to ensure uninterrupted line supply.
• Operate forklifts safely and in compliance with all facility and regulatory requirements.
• Support manual packaging tasks as needed, including hand stacking and material handling.
• Maintain organized, safe, and efficient dock and warehouse areas.
• Assist with inventory management, including material counts, staging, and storage organization.
• Perform general warehouse and production support tasks as assigned, including cleaning, light maintenance, recycling, and disposal of outdated materials.
• Communicate material shortages, equipment issues, or safety concerns to supervision promptly.
• Support cross-functional needs across packaging and warehouse operations as required.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in warehouse, logistics, packaging, or production environment required.
• Minimum 1 year of experience operating a powered industrial truck (forklift) required.
• Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification required.
• Strong commitment to workplace safety and adherence to operational procedures.
• Familiarity with warehouse operations, inventory flow, and material handling processes.
• Basic understanding of sanitation and food safety practices preferred.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Able to multitask in a fast-paced production environment.
• Strong work ethic and professional attitude.
• Able to operate safely in high-traffic production and warehouse environments.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to sit, stand, and operate forklifts for extended periods.
• Frequent walking, bending, twisting, kneeling, crouching, climbing, and reaching.
• Ability to routinely lift and carry up to 55 lbs.
• Ability to safely maneuver and handle heavy pallets and materials using powered equipment.
• Ability to perform fine motor tasks and operate material handling equipment.
• Ability to safely handle industrial materials and work around moving machinery.
• Must be able to safely operate forklifts with seatbelt use required at all times.

Work Environment

The Production Lift Driver must safely operate in areas of the facility with a high concentration of employee foot traffic. While performing the duties of the job, the Production Lift Driver is regularly exposed to a damp, wet environment with hot liquids, airborne particles, chemicals, and moving machinery. There can be loud noise levels. Personal protective equipment (PPE), including protective eyewear, is required at all times in production areas, and seatbelts must be worn while operating forklifts.
