Production Lead

About the role

As a Lead Production Associate, you will guide and coach your team on the production line to ensure maximum productivity and safety. You'll model best practices for GMP, SQF, and PPE policies while collaborating closely with supervisors in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with temperatures between 10º and 40ºF.

Schedule

• Monday & Tuesday, Thursday & Friday: 7:00am to 5:30pm
• Thursday to Sunday: 7:00pm to 5:30am

Full-time status with varied shifts; overtime may be required. Must be able to work full shifts (no partial shifts).

Responsibilities

• Guide and instruct team members on tasks like assembly and single-piece flow.
• Foster positive employee relations through respectful communication.
• Track line counts and report performance metrics accurately.
• Train new hires on SOPs and coach existing staff on company policies.
• Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work environment.
• Identify and report defective materials or safety concerns to Quality Assurance.
• Perform production duties alongside the team as needed.
• Update production data in the computer system (requires basic typing skills).
• Prepare ingredients using tools like food scales and measuring cups when required.

Requirements

• Proven leadership skills and the ability to foster teamwork.
• Strong time management skills to keep the team on task and meet deadlines.
• Clear and diplomatic communication style.
• Basic math proficiency (fractions, multiplication, etc.).
• High school diploma/GED and ideally 1+ year of related experience.
• Must be 18+ years old and able to read/write/speak English.
• Ability to stand and walk for 10-12 hours per shift.
• Must be able to regularly lift 25 lbs and occasionally up to 50 lbs.

Pay

Arizona Pay Range: $21.25—$21.25 USD per hour.
