Production Lead, 2nd shift + $1.00/hr. premium

Location: Lithia Springs, GA

Schedule

Full‑time hourly position, Monday to Thursday, 4:00 PM – 2:30 AM.

About the Role

Manage, supervise and coordinate departmental employees to meet daily quality specifications. Fill in any position that may be short‑staffed. Oversee work accuracy, quality, and department productivity. Develop employee motivation and enthusiasm by setting clear expectations, providing training, giving performance feedback, and engaging in ongoing open communication and employee development, as well as encouraging employees to make suggestions. Provide training and evaluate direct reports consistent with company guidelines, quality, housekeeping, efficiencies, safety and environmental regulations, and complete any training needed to introduce new policies or procedures. Ensure adherence to all applicable occupational health, environmental, and safety policies and procedures. Other duties assigned as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct the work of others and manage the operations of the assigned production area to ensure volume, cost, and quality standards are achieved.
• Ensure physical and workforce resources are adequate to meet the organization’s production schedule.
• Manage the activities of production personnel including workflow, assembly methods and workforce utilization.
• Act as a key business partner focused on establishing, maintaining, developing and promoting a positive employee‑relations environment.
• Fill in short‑staffed positions as needed.
• Oversee work accuracy, quality, and department productivity.
• Develop employee motivation through clear expectations, training, performance feedback, and open communication.
• Provide training and evaluate direct reports per company guidelines and regulatory requirements.
• Ensure compliance with occupational health, environmental, and safety policies.
• Perform other duties assigned as needed.

Requirements

• 3–5 years’ experience at a lead or supervisory level.
• Experience in training, discipline and performance management.
• Reliable, conscientious attendance and self‑discipline.
• Strong interpersonal skills, both written and verbal, with ability to handle confidential information.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow directions.
• Ability to multi‑task, work independently, under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
