Position Summary

The responsibilities of this position include processing raw biological materials for the use in clinical control products, maintaining, and cleaning production equipment and containers, and completing required paperwork. Perform other duties as needed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Processes raw biological materials, specifically bovine and porcine blood.
  • Maintains production equipment and containers.
  • Cleans production equipment and containers.
  • Completes required paperwork.
  • Fulfills other duties as assigned.

Education And Experience

  • A high school diploma or equivalent required.
  • A minimum of 0 to 2 years’ related laboratory experience.

Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities

  • Willingness and ability to work with blood and blood products.
  • Skills in problem solving, including the ability to identify and appropriately evaluate a course of action.
  • Ability to act independently on routine assignments or projects.
  • Ability to plan, organize, and multi-task to complete assignments in an efficient manner.
  • Professional communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Paying attention to details and performing at a high level of accuracy.
  • Independence and teamwork abilities.
