Production II - PT

What's the Short Version?

A Production II associate is responsible for multiple duties including restocking, order audit, and picking orders.

What Will You Be Doing?

• Quickly and accurately pick product from designated locations and either place into cartons on a pre-built pick cart, or into totes as directed by the hand-scanner.
• Restock product into designated locations.
• Inspect and audit outbound customer orders for accuracy and compliance, seal orders, and direct all completed orders to be invoiced and shipped.
• Operate a voice or Radio Frequency unit.
• Responsible for checking out equipment and returning it in same condition.
• Maintain minimum production and accuracy standards and delivery deadlines.

What Are We Looking For?

• A High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• 1-3 years of experience supporting warehouse activities.
• Ability to read, write, and have sufficient ability to identify colors, sizes, quantity, label, and SKU information.
• Basic math skills in counting and quantity required.
• Demonstrated ability to follow directions and change priorities or job duties as business needs require.
• Ability to work in fast-paced, high-volume environment while meeting deadlines.
• Ability to work both independently and within a team.
• Strong attention to details.
• Comprehend verbal and written instructions.
• Regular and prompt attendance.
• Essential days or overtime may be required.

What Should You Expect?

• Stand, walk, talk, and hear.
• Lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, occasionally up to 60 pounds.
• Reach with hands and arms, grasp, perform repetitive hand, wrist, and arm motions.
• Climb stairs, kneel/squat, bend, carry.
• Close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, ability to adjust focus.
• Work in a moderately noisy environment.
• Occasionally work near conveyor systems.
• Exposure to dust and changes in weather conditions.
• Work is performed under typical warehouse conditions.
• Potential hazards exist with regard to machinery such as forklifts, pallet jacks, mechanized systems, etc.
• Work environment is hectic and fast-paced.
• Regular exposure to ambient lighting and can be exposed to extreme heat and extreme cold including climates consistent with outside weather conditions.
