Production General Labor - L2 - 2nd Shift

Essential Functions

• Effective continuous operation and change-over of pizza production line.
• Versatile to work between the crust and boxing end of the production line, including tasks such as laying pizza crust on the line, stacking pizzas, and packing pizzas in boxes.
• Keep track of inventories, counts of ingredients, and finished products.
• Check and communicate code dates to other workers.
• Timely notification to Maintenance and Supervision of equipment problems.
• Notify Supervision of actual or potential problems.
• Able to follow verbal instructions from Supervision.
• Comply with GMP’s, maintain proper sanitation and housekeeping in area.
• Use required safety equipment and comply with proper safety procedures.
• Able to lift up to 40 lbs. regularly and handle wood pallets up to 70 lbs. occasionally.
• Rotate to various jobs on Pizza line, which may include frequent bending, twisting, lifting.
• Other duties as may be assigned by Management or volunteered for.

Desired Qualifications

• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus.

• Frequent walking.
• Sometimes sit, climb, or balance.
• Sometimes stoop, kneel, or crouch.
• Lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 40 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move more than 70 pounds.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

• Production Staff’s base schedule is Monday – Saturday rotating schedule of four to six days at 10 hour shifts.
