Production Floater - 2nd Shift

About the role

A Production Floater supports other departments, such as assembly, shipping, and painting as needed.

Responsibilities

• Move between various stations or departments as needed
• Efficiently assemble quality production parts using hand tools, power tools, or machinery in a safe manner
• Troubleshoot issues that arise during the assembly process and help implement solutions to ensure a smooth workflow
• Identify and report any defects or issues at any given time to the appropriate supervisor
• Follow safety procedures
• Perform visual inspections to ensure quality standards are met
• Maintain a clean and organized working environment
• Meet production goals in a timely manner
• Communicate with other department employees and supervisors as necessary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Ability to read blueprints and understand the assembly process
• Basic knowledge of assembly tools and equipment
• Strong attention to detail along with organizational and problem-solving skills
• Technical aptitude and an understanding of mechanical principles
• Ability to communicate openly in a team environment
• Ability to stand for long periods of time, lift heavy objects, and perform physical tasks daily
• Continuous movement of parts weighing up to 50 lbs with or without accommodations
