Production Flightline APG, F-16 Technician Level 3

About the role

The Production Flightline APG, F-16 Technician Level 3 is responsible for inspecting, troubleshooting, repairing, overhauling, and modifying aircraft systems and powerplants in accordance with established procedures, specifications, and standards. The role also requires knowledge of aircraft systems operation and maintenance, including landing gear, powerplants, flight controls, fueling, defueling, aircraft movement, launch, and recovery.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, overhaul, and modify aircraft systems and powerplants
• Knowledgeable in aircraft systems operation and maintenance
• Comprehend safety rules, maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
• Use hands to grasp, handle, and feel, reach with hands and arms, talk, and hear
• Lift and/or push/pull up to 50 pounds occasionally
• Maintain a clean, FOD-free work area
• Properly use, handle, and dispose of hazardous materials and toxic/caustic chemicals per government regulations and company procedures
• Work in a safe and efficient manner
• Comprehend and follow mission essential functions and other duties as assigned

Requirements

• 8+ years of related aircraft production, overhaul, or modification experience on various aircraft systems
• At least 4 years of Legacy fighter flightline experience or other closely related flightline experience
• Experience with aircraft ground handling and test equipment
• Strong understanding of the maintenance process and proper documentation
• Able to read, comprehend, and navigate technical data and engineering instructions
• Hydrazine response team experience
• Ability to obtain a security clearance
• Previous engine run experience

Qualifications

• US Citizen with ability to obtain a Secret Clearance
• Proficient in AI prompting as it applies to this position

Pay

The pay rate for this position is $27.21 - $49.04 per hour.
