Production Finishing Specialist (Bindery)

About the role

As a Production Finishing Specialist, you will be responsible for the finishing and completion of projects in the center. This role also includes staging and preparing completed jobs for delivery or shipment to clients.

Responsibilities

• Read work orders to determine instructions and specifications for finishing projects.
• Operate finishing machines such as cutters, folders, collators/stitchers, and other production equipment to assemble finished products.
• Work under pressure and manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines.
• Maintain records, including daily production logs, using specified forms.
• Follow all quality control procedures as instructed by the owner or manager.
• Perform any other essential functions or duties needed to ensure the highest quality customer service and product output.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience operating finishing equipment in the print, signage, or related industries.
• Positive, professional attitude and strong work ethic.
• Problem-solving skills and cooperative interpersonal abilities.
• Demonstrated ability to work quickly, neatly, and multitask.
• Basic math skills and ability to use a computer.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs safely and work over a waist-high table.
• Strong multitasking and effective communication skills (oral and written).
• Ability to follow instructions and prioritize workload.
