Production Fill Technician (6:00 am - 6:30 pm)

About the role
As a Production Fill Technician, you will thrive in a fast-paced environment focused on producing high-quality, life-saving products. Baxter’s manufacturing operations run around-the-clock to meet customer needs, offering flexibility through different shift assignments.
Responsibilities
- Run Galaxy Machine and set up equipment
- Perform sterilization and manage Dataloger output
- Troubleshoot alarms
- Operate various equipment used in the mix and fill process, including tools like calipers, scales, gauges, and other measuring devices
- Make process adjustments in accordance with GMPs and plant procedures
- Conduct in-process inspections and complete related documentation per specifications
- Issue ports, build embosser, and clean pressure vessels
- Perform line clearances
- Build and perform integrity testing on all production sterilizing filters
- Maintain area housekeeping and perform drop sanitization
- Overtime may be required
Requirements
- Must not be allergic to Penicillin or Cephalosporin Drugs
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required
- Experience in GMP manufacturing preferred
- Visual acuity of 20/25 Near Vision (with or without corrective lenses)
- Must be able to understand, speak, read, and write English to align with SOPs, specifications, job-specific training, GMPs, and other manuals
- Preferably 6+ months of experience with technical/mechanical machine operating
- Good documentation and computer skills
- Basic math skills required
- Must pass a job placement examination testing physical capabilities for specific job functions
- Comfortable wearing protective equipment, including a respirator, and working in confined spaces
- Comfortable working with pressurized equipment, in temperatures ranging from -25°F to -70°F, with hot surfaces, and in wet environments
Schedule
This is a 12-hour shift on a 2-2-3 rotation, with night shifts running from 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM.
Pay
$28.20 per hour.
