About the role
This position is responsible for ensuring all procedures are followed to achieve the highest level of productivity in the most cost-efficient manner while maintaining customer specifications. The role involves meeting all reporting requirements for the supervised area.
Responsibilities
- Trains and provides an environment for employees to achieve maximum quality and productivity performance.
- Plans and schedules manpower, materials, product, and machines to effectively utilize departmental policies and procedures while maintaining safety, quality, and personnel satisfaction standards.
- Manages employee performance, providing positive and/or corrective feedback.
- Promotes department and company goodwill through proactive employee communication and involvement.
- Investigates, in cooperation with other departments, areas of quality improvement, cost reduction, method improvement, yield control, and equipment maintenance.
- Promotes safety throughout the work area.
Requirements
- 3 or more years of previous supervisory experience.
- Poultry or food industry experience a plus.
- Previous leadership experience with 20 or more employees.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Capable of independent decision-making.
- Basic computer knowledge.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
- Must be able to work assigned hours/days, including occasional weekends, as required.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; College Degree in a related field preferred.

Pay
Base salary range of $78,883–$95,843.
Schedule
Monday – Friday with occasional weekends.
