Production Evis Superintendent-1st Shift

About the role

This position is responsible for ensuring all procedures are followed to achieve the highest level of productivity in the most cost-efficient manner while maintaining customer specifications. The role involves meeting all reporting requirements for the supervised area.

Responsibilities

• Trains and provides an environment for employees to achieve maximum quality and productivity performance.
• Plans and schedules manpower, materials, product, and machines to effectively utilize departmental policies and procedures while maintaining safety, quality, and personnel satisfaction standards.
• Manages employee performance, providing positive and/or corrective feedback.
• Promotes department and company goodwill through proactive employee communication and involvement.
• Investigates, in cooperation with other departments, areas of quality improvement, cost reduction, method improvement, yield control, and equipment maintenance.
• Promotes safety throughout the work area.

Requirements

• 3 or more years of previous supervisory experience.
• Poultry or food industry experience a plus.
• Previous leadership experience with 20 or more employees.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Capable of independent decision-making.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
• Must be able to work assigned hours/days, including occasional weekends, as required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; College Degree in a related field preferred.

Pay

Base salary range of $78,883–$95,843.

Schedule

Monday – Friday with occasional weekends.
