Production Engineer

Responsibilities
- Set up Server/Network/software Configuration.
- Write customized automation scripts to increase system efficiency.
- Manage and monitor all installed systems and infrastructure.
- Install, configure, test, and maintain operating systems, application software and system management tools.
- Proactively ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability.
- Monitor and benchmark test application performance for potential bottlenecks, identify possible solutions.
- Draft and maintain technical documentations including drawing/diagram.
- Provide on-site software deployment/customer acceptance verification test.
Requirements
- BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subject.
- Minimum 1 year of proven working experience in installing, configuring, and troubleshooting Linux based environments.
- Solid scripting skills (e.g., shell scripts, Python, Perl).
- Solid networking knowledge (OSI network layers, TCP/IP).
- Solid language programming knowledge.
- Experience with workload/Resource Managers (e.g., any of Torque, PBS, Slurm).
- Experience with virtualization and containerization.

- Travel required for on-site projects.
