About the role
As a Production Engineer at our East Canton, Ohio plant, you will play a mission-critical role in supporting, optimizing, and advancing our manufacturing operations. This is a highly visible, hands-on position that directly impacts plant performance, product quality, safety culture, and continuous improvement initiatives. You will become a key technical resource on-site—especially within crushing and grinding operations—and a collaborative partner to cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the subject matter expert for crushing and grinding operations, driving performance, reliability, and continuous improvement.
- Lead and coordinate production engineering activities to ensure smooth operations and adherence to production schedules.
- Develop, implement, and sustain process improvements to elevate product quality, efficiency, and cost effectiveness.
- Analyze production data to identify performance trends, bottlenecks, and opportunities for optimization—proposing and executing solutions.
- Collaborate closely with maintenance, quality, sales, and other internal stakeholders to align operations with customer needs and business priorities.
- Champion plant safety by monitoring regulatory compliance and leading initiatives that reinforce a culture of EHS excellence.
- Support the adoption of new technologies, automation, and digital tools to advance manufacturing capability.
- Train, coach, and support production staff to ensure strong technical understanding and consistent execution of best practices.
- Assist with budgeting, cost control, and resource planning to maximize operational value.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering preferred.
- Experience in production engineering, process improvement, or manufacturing operations.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools and production management systems.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills across teams and levels.
- A strong commitment to safety, environmental stewardship, and continuous improvement.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced industrial environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Pay
Salary range: $80,000 - $120,000 annually, depending on qualifications and experience.
Schedule
Full-time position with flexible hours to accommodate plant operations.
