About the Role
The Production Development Manager will serve as an expert in instructional design, managing strategic initiatives from project management and content development to end-user delivery. This role involves creating innovative educational content using sound instructional design methodologies and effective project management to enhance the success of our production and customer care organization.
Responsibilities
- Enhance existing curriculum of instructional materials for instructor-led courses, online programs, learning aids, and other training initiatives.
- Write effective copy, instructional text, audio scripts, and video scripts tailored to the audience.
- Brainstorm creative and innovative instructional design strategies.
- Lead project meetings, prioritize tasks, resolve conflicts, and manage project plans within budget and timelines set by the National Production teams.
- Develop course materials based on input from subject matter experts to create impactful training content.
- Research and identify ways to foster a collaborative training environment and grow the learning presence of the Production and Customer Care teams.
- Recommend changes to existing courses, including technology or instructional methods, to increase adoption.
- Continuously analyze courses to ensure they meet Toll Brothers brand standards, achieve positive reviews, and drive behavior changes.
- Stay updated on emerging instructional technologies and recommend adoption when beneficial.
- Conduct training-the-trainer classes for trainers and Production leaders to ensure consistent, high-level training delivery.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Instructional Design, Construction Management, or Communications.
- 7+ years of experience in instructional design and/or curriculum development for synchronous and asynchronous curricula.
- 5+ years of previous training facilitation experience.
- Ability to travel 40% of the time.
Preferred Qualifications
- Graduate degree in relevant fields such as Real Estate Development, Construction Management, or Engineering.
- Experience or internships within residential real estate or homebuilding.
