About the role

As a Production Designer at BKX Holdings, LLC in Garland, TX, you will be responsible for overseeing the visual aspects of productions, including set design, props, and costumes, to ensure they align with the creative vision of the project.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the creation and implementation of production designs that enhance the overall look and feel of films, television shows, and other media projects.
  • Collaborate closely with directors, cinematographers, and other production team members to translate artistic concepts into practical designs.
  • Manage the procurement and coordination of all necessary materials and resources for set construction and maintenance.
  • Work with artists, designers, and craftspeople to develop and execute detailed design plans and budgets.
  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols and quality standards during the production process.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts, Design, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in production design, preferably in film or television.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing previous work in production design.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications

  • Experience working on high-profile productions.
  • Knowledge of industry-standard software such as Adobe Creative Suite and SketchUp.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
