About the role

As the Production Coordinator, your primary job will be facilitating the movement of orders through each department within the production facility. SendCutSend is an on-demand manufacturing company specializing in custom sheet metal and CNC machining, serving more than 150,000 engineers, fabricators, and businesses across the U.S. and Canada. Responsibilities

  • Efficiently manage the flow of orders through each department in the facility, ensuring customer orders are promptly transferred to the correct stages of the production process
  • Assist with ensuring production is following established procedures and standards in each department
  • Communicate and collaborate with all departments in production to maintain a smooth workflow, helping to clear bottlenecks as they arise
  • Regularly monitor Fast Pass, review the stalled order report, check orders on the IR rack, and perform Chapel audits
  • Communicate with and update the Customer Support Team on order status when requested
  • Assist with any additional production tasks as directed by the leadership and management team (ie restocking, denesting, or other production needs)
  • Safely maneuver small motorized vehicles through busy work areas while adhering to established safety protocols and maintaining control at all times
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized working environment

Qualifications

The minimum qualifications for this role include a high school diploma or equivalent, exceptional multitasking and time management abilities, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills, and a proactive, calm approach to handling unexpected logistical issues on short notice.

Additionally, you should have attention to detail, clear verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English. A commitment to maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment is also required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in a manufacturing or logistics environment
  • Previous experience working with production schedules or batch processing

Physical Requirements

This role requires the ability to use basic hand tools and measuring devices, repeatedly lift 25 lbs and up to 50 lbs, and stand/walk for 10-12 hours per shift.

Work Environment

The work environment for this role is a manufacturing and production floor environment, with work performed around CNC lasers, press brakes, machinery, and material handling equipment. You will be exposed to noise, moving machinery, and metal materials, and will be required to use protective equipment at all times.

Schedule

The schedule for this role is Monday-Thursday, 5:00AM-3:00PM.
