Production Coordinator Door Shop

Responsibilities

• Performs all administrative duties required to convert engineering data into shop fabrication data to communicate to the production line what needs to be manufactured.
• Performs all clerical tasks associated with releasing a job into the shop.
• Creates applicable cut lists, bunking lists, fabrication drawings and electronic files necessary to operate the shop floor and the computerized manufacturing equipment.
• Creates job folders.
• Generates the shop drawings by work center.
• Batches jobs and creates cutting reports.
• Simultaneously creates the automated saw files and projection fabrication files.
• Releases job to production team.
• Updates scheduling status.
• Edits work order in On-Line Software for shop labor totals.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• 18 months of truss fabrication experience.
