Production Control & Logistics Associate - DAY SHIFT ONLY

About the role

We are filling positions in Production Control & Logistics — Distribution Associates supply raw material to assembly lines as an indirect function to Production while maintaining bulk warehouse inventory and repack process. This role requires knowledge of AS400 and Items programs, warehouse locations, and plant layout, as well as the ability to operate forklifts, tuggers, and scanning equipment.

Responsibilities

• Supply raw material to assembly lines
• Maintain bulk warehouse inventory and repack process
• Operate forklift and tugger
• Scan all material from warehouse to line
• Repack raw rotors into production bins
• Repack aluminum parts into totes
• Communicate parts shortages or overages for production scheduling

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required for internal hire (not required for temporary employees)
• Basic reading skills; ability to follow directions
• Basic computer navigation and utilization skills
• Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly
• High attention to detail and self-motivation
• Pass basic math, reading, and dexterity testing
• Reliable and punctual
• Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team
• Pass a drug screen and background check
• Physical demands: regularly lift 35 pounds, perform repetitive tasks, possess manual dexterity to assemble parts quickly and accurately, good eye-hand coordination

Schedule

• Full-time, minimum 5 days per week; weekends possible
• Average 8–10.5 hours per day
