About the role

The Production Control Associate is responsible for managing production schedules, coordinating material changes, and ensuring compliance with company policies.

Responsibilities

  • Schedule production orders in SAP for work-in-process materials and verify proper processing to support production schedules.
  • Reconcile material goods issues and receipts to production orders daily, ensuring inventory accuracy and investigating discrepancies with cross-functional teams.
  • Perform material tracing and audit manufacturing paperwork within SAP.
  • Cook material and product changes.
  • Plan and manage daily labor schedules to meet production demands while controlling overtime.
  • Track and maintain SAP databases and production records; prepare reports in a timely manner.
  • Attend management meetings to stay current on project status, production schedules, and operational updates.
  • Train line employees and management on accurate SAP data entry.
  • Support supervisors with planning and scheduling; help resolve production, scheduling, and shipping issues.
  • Ensure compliance with company mission, values, policies, and standards of conduct.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 3–5 years of related experience in production control, manufacturing, or scheduling.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Outlook) and Windows-based systems.
  • Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems preferred.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes and material flow.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and with limited supervision.
  • Ability to analyze data and generate reports from systems such as SAP.
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal) to collaborate across teams.
  • Experience in production labor scheduling preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to train/support team members effectively

Qualifications

Pay

Weekly Friday pay
Earn up to 2 weeks paid time off your first year
7 paid holidays and 2 personal days each year
