Production Control Associate

About the role

The Production Control Associate works closely with all departments under the Planning Manager’s supervision, performing a wide variety of tasks in support of planning duties using established procedures.

Responsibilities

• Support the shipping department to ensure daily orders are received and shipped according to promise date.
• Assist in communications with production regarding open orders, late shipment notifications, expedite requests, and other customer inquiries.
• Ensure timely order release, including support for actual kitting and/or release of raw materials to the factory.
• Collect data as requested for performance metric reporting.
• Assist in other production or related support functions as time permits.

Requirements

• A High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Proven experience in a fast-paced materials environment.
• Attention to detail is paramount.
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw conclusions.
• Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
• Must be able to work with minimal supervision.
• Requires superior organizational, accountability, and tracking skills.
• General working knowledge of ERP software is a plus.
• All applicants must be eligible to work in the US without restriction to ITAR documentation and materials.
• Must be a US citizen, legal permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
