About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented Production Configuration Management Analyst to support manufacturing operations by managing configuration changes and ensuring product quality. This role involves processing Manufacturing Change Notices (MCNs), analyzing technical drawing packages, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to implement changes effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the processing of Manufacturing Change Notices (MCNs) and provide direction for implementation plans.
• Review and analyze Technical Drawing Packages (TDP) and change documents, comparing them to current Manufacturing Bills of Materials (MBOM).
• Identify impacts to MBOM configuration, routings, assembly setup, effectivity, material flow, and work instructions.
• Collaborate with manufacturing functions to gather information related to current MBOM configuration.
• Arrange and conduct team meetings to determine implementation plans and follow-up tasks.
• Provide technical input and guidance for problem-solving.

Requirements

• 4-Year Technical Degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience reading drawings across multiple programs (TDP).
• Knowledge of Bills of Materials (BOM).
• Experience with Enterprise Product Data Management Systems (EPDM/Windchill).
• Proficiency with Oracle (Item Master, Drawing File, BOMs, Routings).
• Experience using OBIEE to export files highlighting MBOM changes.
• Strong Excel skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of processing non-conforming parts for re-work or upgrade by outside service providers (OSP).

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced Excel skills, including coding and macros.
• Experience with manufacturing processes (welding, assembly, processing).
• Familiarity with material control change processes (job release, modifications, floor stock, on-hand inventory).
