About the Role
Provides clerical assistance to the Encapsulating and HKSORT Department.
Responsibilities
- Inputs daily production via computer and RF device.
- Orders materials needed for daily and weekly production.
- Verifies product and LOT numbering for daily production.
- Compiles and records production data from daily production logs.
- Completes, organizes, and files attendance paperwork for the Encapsulating Department.
- Orders supplies and materials such as: shrink wrap film, glue guns, glue sticks, first aid supplies, etc.
- Keeps inventory records of the supplies and materials in the departments.
- Compiles general production reports.
- Distributes and collects Human Resources related forms.
- Assists Production Supervisor with typing memos, documents, etc.
- Assists with special projects that may involve working with other supervisors.
- Monitors daily production and solves problems in the absence of Supervisor.
- Fills out daily batch records per FDA requirements.
- Inspects fire extinguishers, first aid cabinets, and eye wash stations in the Encapsulating Department.
- Coordinates activities with the supply cage personnel and coordinates employee orders with the appropriate staff member.
- Maintains a clean and organized work area.
- Follows GMPs as outlined by company policy.
- Follows safety rules as outlined by company policy.
- May perform Packer, General Worker, or Sorter/Inspector duties as needed.
- Assists with annual physical inventory.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Skills
- Language Skills: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to employees, supervisors, and managers of the organization.
- Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Computer Skills: Data entry is a plus.
- Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
