Responsibilities

  • Perform residential carpentry, roofing, siding, door/window installation, and remodeling work.
  • Install, replace, and repair vinyl, fiber cement, wood, and other siding products.
  • Install and repair siding trim, corner posts, J-channels, soffits, fascia, and related components.
  • Operate a metal brake to measure, cut, bend, and fabricate aluminum and other sheet-metal materials.
  • Fabricate and install custom metal flashing, trim, drip edges, coping, and other exterior metal components.
  • Accurately measure and bend metal to project specifications.
  • Perform roof framing, structural repairs, and wood replacement.
  • Install and repair rafters, trusses, roof sheathing, fascia, soffits, and other wood components.
  • Assist with roof tear-offs, roofing installations, repairs, and maintenance.
  • Remove damaged or deteriorated roofing, siding, and structural materials.
  • Inspect buildings for rot, water damage, structural issues, and other problems.
  • Read and interpret construction plans, measurements, and project specifications.
  • Safely operate hand tools, power tools, ladders, scaffolding, lifts, and construction equipment.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site.
  • Follow company safety procedures.
  • Work professionally with homeowners, project managers, and other crew members.
  • Complete work according to company quality standards and project specifications.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in carpentry, roofing, siding, window/door installation, or residential construction.
  • Hands-on metal brake experience required or strongly preferred.
  • Ability to accurately measure, cut, bend, and install sheet metal.
  • Experience fabricating custom flashing and metal trim is a plus.
  • Experience installing and repairing siding is strongly preferred.
  • Roofing and exterior remodeling experience is highly desirable.
  • Ability to accurately measure, cut, and install construction materials.
  • Comfortable working on ladders, scaffolding, lifts, and rooftops.
  • Ability to safely operate common carpentry and construction tools.
  • Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship.
  • Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.
  • Ability to lift materials and perform physically demanding work.
  • Valid driver’s license preferred.
