About the role

Great Southern Wood Preserving in Lake Panasoffkee is seeking a self-starter, motivated, and energetic team player to join their panel manufacturing plant.

Responsibilities

• Build fence panels and gates in a team environment
• Work in various weather conditions (cold, hot, rain)
• Communicate effectively and follow directions
• Identify and communicate issues effectively
• Identify correct end tags for production runs
• Lift up to 50 lbs

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED
• Good mathematical skills
• Willingness to work in all types of weather environments
• Adequate attendance record
• Effective communication skills
• Willingness to learn and advance
• Ability to stand, bend, stoop, and reach for extended periods
• Team player mentality
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed
• Ability to identify and solve problems
• Knowledge of lumber sizes, grades, and treatments
