Production Associates

Description

Smurfit Westrock is seeking candidates for various shifts at their facility located at 1925 Stone Court, Mishawaka, IN 46545. The pay rate is $19.76/hr with an increase to $24.14/hr after a training period. Shifts available are 2nd Shift (M-F, 2:54 pm -11 pm) and 3rd Shift (Sun- Thur, 10:54 pm -7 am).

Requirements

• MUST be able to work 2nd and 3rd Shift.
• Must be able to safely perform tasks including stacking product, conducting quality checks, material setup, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to operate various manufacturing equipment, follow specific directions, operate power hand tools, and other duties as assigned.
• Ability to maintain a clean and safe work environment and comply with all safety regulations.
• Read a tape measure, basic math, and possess computer skills.
• Able to lift, push or pull 50lbs, navigate stairs, stand, walk, bend, and kneel throughout the entire shift.
• Willingness to work daily overtime, weekend work, and various shifts depending on position.
• Strong commitment to safety.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Desire to learn manufacturing processes and operate complex machinery.
• Desire to advance and grow within the organization.
• Manufacturing experience (preferred) however not required – full training provided.
• Military training and/or Technical School preferred.
• Previous paper or printing converting experience is a plus.
