Production Associate - TT Strap - Demold - 3rd Shift

About the role

Parker Hannifin TT Strap Associate – 3rd Shift in Dayton, OH, Noise, Vibration, and Harshness Division, Engineered Materials Group. Parker Lord’s Dayton facility manufactures passive vibration mounts for commercial and military aerospace applications, emphasizing high technology solutions and the highest quality products. Core competencies include machining and rubber-to-metal bonding, with industry and aerospace certifications including AS9100 and NADCAP.

Responsibilities

• Follow all manufacturing instructions and print requirements for the production of components in TT Strap
• Complete necessary paperwork and documentation to ensure quality conformance and the proper movement and control of product
• Complete all quality-related inspection requirements
• Ensure all equipment and materials used to perform job functions are compliant with procedures
• Suggest and participate in the implementation of process improvements and scrap reduction activities
• Perform all required preventative maintenance activities
• Actively participate in LEAN projects and activities
• Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures
• Responsible for the proper storage and disposition of hazardous waste
• Perform other assignments as required

Qualifications

• Able to communicate effectively with management and co-workers to promote strong working relationships and create an environment focused on teamwork
• Flexible with work and job assignments and willing to perform any function as needed
• Must be dependable and available to work overtime when required
• Understands and demonstrates comprehension of drawings, blueprints, and Manufacturing Work Instructions
• Proficient with Microsoft Office including Outlook
• Self-motivated and able to work effectively and efficiently with limited supervision
• Ability to carry/lift up to 35 lbs. (30% of the time)
• Must have the ability to stand, kneel, squat, stoop, use fingers and hands to feel, lift, or handle tools, parts, and equipment

Education

• High School Diploma or Equivalent

Work Experience

• 2 years of experience in a manufacturing or similar work environment
• 2+ years of experience in aerospace manufacturing preferred
