Production Associate Swing Shift

About the role

Production Associate 1 performs entry-level assembly and/or glass production of Windows & Doors. Follows well-defined standard works with guidance and oversight. Collaborates with experienced teammates to develop new skills. Meets safety, quality, and on-time delivery standards while minimizing waste and cost. Meets production targets while maintaining production flow.

Responsibilities

• Follow safe practices and wear required PPE at all times
• Fabricate, assemble, and lift window and/or door units
• Work to an established production rate
• Identify problems and communicate issues
• Perform housekeeping duties in designated work areas
• Assist with training co-workers
• Perform other duties across the plant as needed as directed by leadership

Qualifications

• Ability to understand written and verbal instructions in English and follow established work processes
• Ability to safely move materials and operate hand and power tools as needed
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliable attendance and flexibility to work overtime or weekends, as needed
• Manufacturing and tape measure experience preferred

Physical requirements & work environment

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and remain standing for extended periods
• Frequent walking, bending, reaching, twisting, lifting, and using repetitive motion
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with typical manufacturing conditions
• Required use of appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)

Pay & schedule

• Pay range: $21.50 - $22.50 per hour + $1.50 per hour shift differential for Swing Shift
• Shift: Swing Shift, Monday-Thursday, 2:30 pm - 1:00 am, plus overtime based on production needs
