Production Associate: Retread Tire Technician (Training Provided) - Portland, OR

Starting pay: $24.00–$27.00/hour (DOE) with training provided. Overtime opportunities, weekly pay, and full benefits.

About the Role

As a member of our retread team, you will play a key role in recapping, remolding, or extending the life of existing tires to get them back on the road. You will support the retread process through various stages:

• Inspect tires to assess if they can be retread
• Buff the casing to remove worn tread
• Remove embedded objects, rust, and repair the tire casing
• Use rubber cement or a patch to repair the casing before applying new tread
• Build the tire by applying new tread
• Cure the tire to mold the retread application
• Perform final inspection to ensure a safe and quality product

Schedule

• Monday–Friday with flexible start times between 3 AM–7 AM
• Some Saturday work and rotating weekends may be required based on business demands

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship now or in the future
• Basic computer skills

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment, general labor, or entry-level roles is a plus
