Production Associate, Pouch (10:45pm - 6:45am)

In this role, you will perform tasks related to drug formulation, weighing raw materials, cleaning and mixing sophisticated tanks and equipment, distilled water sanitization, filter integrity testing, and documentation. Responsibilities

• Over-pouch and seal filled bags containing IV therapies, premixed drugs, renal therapies, and other sterile solutions at a rate consistent with production needs.
• Inspect over-pouches, bags, and components to ensure they meet quality standards.
• Perform scheduled quality checks using gauges and scales.
• Conduct and document scheduled cleaning activities.
• Notify supervisors and take appropriate action for any safety, quality, mechanical, or discrepancy issues.
• Learn, understand, and apply rigorous quality standards, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP).
• Maintain a clean and safe work area using 6S principles.
• Correct over-pouch seal or packaging issues identified during inspection.

Requirements

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Possess or be able to obtain Inspector Certification.
• One year of manufacturing experience preferred.
• CRC (Career Readiness Certification) at the Silver level preferred.
• Basic English written and oral communication skills to interact with team members.
• Ability to understand verbal and written safety and quality instructions, including words and drawings.
• Ability to perform basic mathematics.

Physical Requirements

• Continuous grasping, pushing/pulling up to 12 pounds for up to 25 feet, and reaching with hands and arms.
• Lifting up to 16 pounds to/from a height of up to 46 inches constantly throughout the shift.
• Carrying up to 10 pounds for 5 feet constantly throughout the shift.
• Normal visual acuity and the ability to distinguish color.
• Ability to complete quick and precise repetitive processes using both arms and hands.
• Occasional specialized physicals may be required when working with certain drug codes.
• Ability to sit, stand, walk, climb stairs, reach forward, reach overhead, balance, and crouch.
• Ability to handle objects and operate controls using fine/simple/firm grasping and fingering.

Pay

$19.90 per hour.
