Lazy River Products (LRP) is seeking a Production Associate to join the Packaging Department in Dracut, MA. This full-time, hourly role supports daily operations related to packaging bulk flower and pre-rolls into finished goods.
Responsibilities
- Package flower products accurately by weight, adhering to regulatory and LRP standard operating procedures (SOP).
- Use scales and balances to ensure product weights meet requirements.
- Apply labels to product packaging accurately and neatly per LRP SOP.
- Maintain sanitation practices, including cleaning tools, equipment, workstations, and work rooms.
- Complete department logs, forms, and records with clear and legible writing.
- Perform quality control for products and product labels, ensuring proper information and application.
- Demonstrate professionalism and maintain productive relationships within the department and company.
- Follow directives from department and company leadership while raising suggestions or concerns professionally.
- Work efficiently to meet or exceed KPIs, support colleagues, and proactively address challenges.
- Wear LRP uniform and PPE, practice good hygiene, and follow safe handling requirements.
- Assist colleagues and leadership with department duties and tasks as needed.
- Support inventory audits for products and consumables, communicating supply needs to leadership.
- Operate tools and equipment safely and proficiently, adhering to all safety policies and regulations.
- May be assigned additional duties or asked to assist in adjacent departments to support production needs.
Requirements
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent (required).
- Inventory or manufacturing experience (preferred).
- Previous experience in the Massachusetts cannabis industry or production (preferred).
- Proficiency with Windows OS and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.).
- Ability to perform standard mathematical equations related to quantity, weights, and measures.
- Must be 21 years of age or older and comply with all legal and company regulatory requirements.
- Ability to pass a formal background check per Massachusetts regulatory requirements for agent registration.
- Reliable transportation.

Physical Requirements & Work Environment
- Manufacturing environment with exposure to loud machinery, bright lights, airborne particulates, or other production hazards.
- Must wear ear, eye, and respiratory protection as a precaution.
- Limited-access, clean production area requiring proper uniform, closed-toed shoes, hair nets, disposable gloves, and other PPE.
- Persistent use of fingers, hands, wrists, and arms for building and packaging materials throughout the shift.
- Mobility requirements include traveling between rooms/departments, sitting/standing at workstations, and accessing materials (squatting, lifting, reaching).
Pay
$18.00/hour (non-exempt).
Schedule
- Monday–Friday, 7:45 AM–4:30 PM (30-minute unpaid lunch break).
- 40 hours per week, with potential weekend/holiday work as needed.
