About the role
84 Lumber is hiring immediately for a full-time, hourly Millwork Manufacturer. This role works as a production and warehouse associate and assembler in the custom millwork manufacturing area. The position is based at 779 22 ROAD, GRAND JUNCTION, CO 81505, where the company manufactures roof trusses and wall panels for new construction framing and carpentry work.
Responsibilities
- Sanding, sawing, and staining of millwork products on the production line
- Monitoring quality assurance throughout the production process
- Maintaining a clean and safe work environment and observing all safety rules posted in the warehouse
- Forklift training, certification, and operation
Qualifications
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos; write simple correspondence; effectively present information to others one-on-one
- Must be able to periodically lift up to 80 pounds
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
Pay
Biweekly pay. Non-experienced: $18/hr + overtime (time and a half) + potential monthly bonuses. Experienced truss builders could qualify for higher pay commensurate with experience.
Schedule
Monday–Friday, 6:00am–2:30pm. Overtime and occasional Saturdays as needed.
