About the Role
- Moves, handles, and secures lumber products and materials according to instructions
- Stacks finished products based on bundle size and customer requirements
- Labels materials by product type, size, and count
- Applies individual tags before and/or after treating or production
- Bands, bundles, and secures materials using strapping and corner protectors
- Uses a staple gun and troubleshoots minor equipment issues
- Verifies correct quantities are bundled, labeled, and secured
- Maintains accurate inventory of tags and reports discrepancies to a supervisor
- Records production activity on production sheets
- Maintains a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Affords assistance to other areas by moving material and loading/unloading carts
- Fulfills all safety, quality, and operational procedures
- Participates in safety meetings, continuous improvement (CI), and team activities
- Performs other duties as assigned
Basic Math Skills
Preferred High school diploma or GED
Must be 18 years of age or older
Ability to follow instructions and work safely in a physical manufacturing environment
Pay & Schedule
Pay Rate: $16.00 - $18.00/hour, depending on experience
Shift Schedule: Monday – Friday, 6:00am – 2:30pm
