We are looking for a talented Production Associate to join our team specializing in manufacturing at our Cummins Inc. facility in Ladson, SC.
Responsibilities
- Ensure safety by stopping work and reporting any major injury hazards immediately.
- Report any work-related injuries, illnesses, incidents, or hazards promptly to contribute to a proactive safety culture.
- Adhere to HSE standards, policies, procedures, and regulations to meet safety and environmental guidelines.
- Consistently use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) to protect yourself and colleagues.
- Promote team safety by fostering interdependence and looking out for one another.
- Recognize and minimize the negative impact of your work on the environment to support sustainability efforts.
- Follow standard work, process documentation, and quality procedures to maintain high product standards and reduce costs.
- Actively participate in training, development, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality, safety, and processes.
- Develop and deliver clear, multi-mode communications tailored to different audiences.
- Address difficult issues directly and communicate necessary information, even when challenging.

Requirements
- High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education, or equivalent experience meeting applicable regulations.
- Some work experience or intermediate-level knowledge obtained through education, training, or on-the-job experience.
- This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
Physical Requirements
- Lift, rotate 90 degrees, and carry metal turbo cores weighing up to 34 lbs. up to 4 feet, 40 times per hour.
- Grasp and operate two hoist handles at 78-80 inches from the ground to load turbochargers into containers.
- Lift and carry up to 6 parts weighing up to 42 lbs.
- Press together a two-handed retaining ring tool, 40 times per hour.
- Insert retaining rings using one-handed retaining ring pliers, 40 times per hour.
- Stand or walk for 8-12 hours per shift, up to 2 hours consecutively.
- Push or pull wheeled carts requiring up to 85 lb. force up to 30 feet.
