Production Associate - Level II

We are looking for a talented Production Associate to join our team specializing in manufacturing at our Cummins Inc. facility in Ladson, SC.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety by stopping work and reporting any major injury hazards immediately.

Requirements

• High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education, or equivalent experience meeting applicable regulations.
• Some work experience or intermediate-level knowledge obtained through education, training, or on-the-job experience.
• This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

Physical Requirements

• Lift, rotate 90 degrees, and carry metal turbo cores weighing up to 34 lbs. up to 4 feet, 40 times per hour.
• Grasp and operate two hoist handles at 78-80 inches from the ground to load turbochargers into containers.
• Lift and carry up to 6 parts weighing up to 42 lbs.
• Press together a two-handed retaining ring tool, 40 times per hour.
• Insert retaining rings using one-handed retaining ring pliers, 40 times per hour.
• Stand or walk for 8-12 hours per shift, up to 2 hours consecutively.
• Push or pull wheeled carts requiring up to 85 lb. force up to 30 feet.
