Production Associate - Hutchinson

Job Summary

As a Production Associate you will work towards achieving company goals and objectives to effectively meet customer needs. In this manufacturing role, you will be measuring dimensions of metal in fractions and decimals using steel tape, micrometers, and other measuring devices. As our materials move through production, you will inspect metal and materials, utilizing computer terminals to record metal flow and data through our process, while working with other members of the production team.

Responsibilities

• Polish, clean, tape, shear, and enclose metal for shipping.
• Measure dimensions of metal in fractions and decimals using steel tape, micrometers, and other measuring devices.
• Cut samples.
• Set up and operate production equipment.
• Inspect metal and materials.
• Assist with shipping process.
• Utilize computer terminals to record metal flow and data through our process.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
• Willingness to work a fixed work schedule (8 or 12 hour shifts).
• Satisfactory completion of a comprehensive skills test.
• Pass a physical examination, drug screen test and background check.
