Production Associate- Hobb Operator 2nd shift

Essential Functions

  • Maintain Environmental, Health, and Safety standards in the workplace
  • Read work orders to determine material specifications
  • Position work piece against the stops, pushes button and/or depresses pedal to activate machine
  • Observe machine operation to detect work piece defects or machine malfunctions
  • Check parts visually and with gauges supplied by QA
  • Reports all abnormal conditions to Lead Person or Supervisor
  • Complete work order and Hobb Dimension Reports correctly and legibly
  • Follow written and oral work instruction
  • Work well with supervision and co-workers
  • Willingness to run other machines when needed such as but not limited to Heat Treat & Rack Roller
  • Work in a safe manner at all times
  • Keep work area clean at all times

Minimum Qualifications

  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Basic math skills

Physical Demands

  • Ability to stand continuously for 8 - 12 hours
  • Ability to work in tight places
  • Strength and manual dexterity sufficient to operate tools to make repairs
  • Ability to lift 20 pounds repetitively
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
  • Ability to twist, bend and lift repetitively
  • Ability to stand, crouch and climb to perform repairs, use ladders and perform various types of manual labor
  • Good eye/hand coordination and good motor skills
  • Visual (with correction) sufficient to read blueprints and orders and the ability to record the information either manually or in a computer

Environmental Conditions

  • Exposure to a noisy work environment
  • Exposure to hot and humid conditions
  • Exposure to coolants, oils, grease and water
  • Ear and Eye protection required at all times in all production areas
  • Steel toe boots with integrated metatarsal guards required in production area

Pay

Hourly or Salary Range: $17.25 - $20.35
