Production Associate - Garment Hanger/Inspector
About the Role
Cintas is seeking a Production Associate - Garment Hanger/Inspector to support the Rental Division. The role involves safely and accurately placing customer garments on hangers and visually inspecting all garments to identify the need for proactive repairs, such as patching holes or tears. Garment Hanger/Inspectors are expected to maintain the cleanliness of their work area.
This position operates on a performance-based incentive pay structure. The Garment Hanger must meet or exceed a production standard for hanging garments, with additional compensation tied to exceeding these standards.
Responsibilities
- Place customer garments on hangers safely and accurately.
- Visually inspect garments to identify and address repair needs (e.g., patching holes or tears).
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Meet or exceed established production standards for hanging garments.
Requirements
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Must adhere to attendance policies.
- Must be willing to work in close proximity to others for extended periods.
- Must thrive in a fast-paced, schedule-driven environment with time pressures.
Physical Qualifications
- Requires standing for most of the shift.
- Involves repetitive motions, stretching, bending, turning, or reaching.
- May require pushing carts or bins full of bulk or linen products.

How You Will Be Evaluated
The selection process may include the following components:
- Application and resume review.
- Interviews.
- Job Tryout: A realistic job preview to understand the work environment, activities, and performance expectations. Candidates will be compensated for their time during the tryout.
Not all applicants will progress through the entire process; only the most qualified will advance. Candidates receiving a conditional job offer will complete a background check and drug screen. A criminal history does not automatically disqualify candidates.
Pay
Competitive hourly pay with the opportunity to earn up to an additional $3.00 per hour through individual productivity and performance, based on meeting or exceeding production standards.
