Production Associate, Fill (10:45pm - 6:45am)

As a Production Associate, Fill, you will work in a fast-paced environment that emphasizes camaraderie and teamwork, performing tasks related to drug formulation, weighing raw materials, cleaning, mixing sophisticated tanks and equipment, distilled water sanitization, filter integrity testing, and documentation. Your team

Baxter is focused on saving and sustaining lives by manufacturing high-quality products. The team supports each other throughout each shift, fostering a collaborative and open culture. You'll receive extensive training, with additional support from your direct manager and peers as needed.

Responsibilities

• Fill, assemble, and plug flexible containers with solutions or premixed drugs at a rate consistent with production needs.
• Print labeling and bar code information on flexible containers using a computerized printer.
• Maintain the printer by replacing printer foil, ribbon, and making minor adjustments.
• Supply filling stations with printed bags and other necessary supplies.
• Inspect printed bags and components to ensure they meet quality standards.
• Perform and document scheduled cleaning activities.
• Conduct scheduled quality checks using gauges and scales.
• Learn, understand, and apply quality standards, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP).
• Notify supervisors and take appropriate action for safety, quality, mechanical, or discrepancy issues.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area using 6S principles.

Requirements

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• CRC (Career Readiness Certification) at the Silver level, preferred.
• Possess or be able to obtain Inspector Certification.
• One year of manufacturing experience, preferred.
• Basic English written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to understand verbal and written safety and quality instructions, and read work instructions including words and drawings.
• Ability to perform basic mathematics.

Physical Requirements

• Continuous grasping, pushing/pulling up to 40 pounds for distances up to 50 feet, and reaching with hands and arms up to 18 inches.
• Frequent lifting and carrying of up to 12 pounds throughout the shift.
• Normal visual acuity and ability to distinguish color.
• Ability to complete quick and precise repetitive processes using both arms and hands.
• Occasional specialized physicals required when working with certain drug codes.
• Ability to sit, stand, walk, squat, climb ladders, reach forward, balance, stoop, and crouch.

Pay

This position has a pay rate of $19.90 an hour.
