Production Associate Dayshift

About the role

The Production Associate 1 - Dayshift position is available at Harrisville. This role is full-time and operates on a day shift.

Responsibilities

- Operate various hand tools to assemble window units - Lift windows onto build tables and roller racks - Move carts in and out of production work area - Operate various types of saws to cut wood necessary for mull units - Operate fabrication dies - Apply hardware to units using appropriate tooling - Use stretch wrapping equipment - Utilize production reports for production planning - Conduct quality audits and engage in problem-solving activities to address quality concerns - Adhere to safety, health, and environmental guidelines - Wear required personal protective equipment - Participate in cross-rotation with other operators as needed - Support cross-training initiatives as needed - Perform other tasks assigned by supervisor

Qualifications

- Ability to measure lengths accurately to 1/32" - Proficiency in basic arithmetic operations - Competence in reading and interpreting statistical data, productivity reports, and written instructions - Capacity to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions - Familiarity with computerized equipment - Physical ability to lift 50 pounds continuously, including lifting above and below the waist - Standing, walking, and working on concrete surfaces for extended periods - Ability to move carts in and out of production areas
