Production Associate (Days / Nights Shifts)

Requirements

• Prepare battery feedstock for the daily production run
• Supply product to the line as part of the infeed process
• Pack the finished product into appropriate packaging and applicable pallet configuration
• Check the finished product meets customer requirements
• Complete physical tasks as directed, including but not limited to pushing, pulling, gripping, twisting, reaching, etc
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., unassisted
• Strong command of the English language, both written and verbal
• Punctuality and a professional, can-do attitude are a must
• Able to follow verbal and written instructions for specialized equipment
• Escalate technical problems to the appropriate support groups and leaders
• Follow safety guidelines and manufacturing instructions
• Evaluate the assembly processes and equipment to look for continuous improvement opportunities
• Complete other duties as assigned/support cross-functional teams

Physical Demands

• Ability to stand and sit for prolonged periods
• Ability to walk throughout the plant
• Ability to bend at the waist
• Ability to lift 50 lbs
• Ability to wear PPE, which includes but is not limited to the following: eye and face protection, hearing protection, respirators, and protective shoes and shoe coverings
• Must have 20/20 or corrected vision
• Ability to perform repetitive duties
• Ability to work in environments that may include exposure to noise, dust, and chemicals for extended periods

Expected Pay Range

$20/hr - $25/hr

Compensation

The total compensation package may also include additional components such as bonus, equity, and benefits, which will be detailed upon offer of employment.
