Production Associate Day Shift

About the role

Base pay rate is $20.00 - $22.00 per hour. Day Shift Hours: 4:00 AM - 12:30 PM; hours may vary depending on operations. This position has the potential for overtime, with shifts ranging from 8, 10, or 12 hours depending on work orders and season.

Responsibilities

• Assist mill operators and perform other warehouse duties as assigned
• Operate side loaders and a variety of power tools, including electric and pneumatic
• Band and clear lines, placing products in outside racks
• Mark part numbers, order numbers, and quantities on parts; attach identification tags for customer reference
• Provide cost-saving suggestions and ideas to improve productivity and eliminate waste
• Maintain continuous improvement practices in work area
• Inspect work visually for defects according to Quality Systems
• Read a tape measure, write, and follow posted schedules
• Demonstrate teamwork while prioritizing safety
• Perform other projects and duties as designated by Team Leader
• Work overtime as required

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
• Minimum of one year of related work experience in manufacturing or comparable environment
• Minimum of one year operating manufacturing machinery and/or equipment
• Good communication skills
• Basic computer skills
• Experience with hand tools, wrenches, banding equipment, and nail guns
• Able to use measuring gauges and read a tape measure
• Flexible with working overtime and weekends when needed
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds continually, above shoulder height and below the waist
• Must be at least 18 years of age to apply

Pay

$20.00 - $22.00 per hour (full-time is defined as regularly working 30+ hours per week; union programs may vary).

Schedule

Day Shift: 4:00 AM - 12:30 PM (hours may vary). Shifts may be 8, 10, or 12 hours long depending on work orders and season.
