About the role
As a Production Associate, your responsibilities will include:
- Perform production and assembly tasks as assigned
- Use hand and power tools safely and effectively
- Assist with carpentry, plumbing, mechanical, fabrication, or electrical projects
- Measure, cut, assemble, and install components
- Read blueprints and work instructions when applicable
- Inspect finished products for quality
- Operate forklifts as assigned after training
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies
- Collaborate with team members to complete production goals
- Complete additional duties as assigned
Requirements/Qualifications
- Self-starter with a willingness to learn
- Experience in carpentry, auto mechanics, plumbing, metal fabrication, auto electrical, or forklift operation is preferred but not required
- Ability to safely use hand and power tools
- Ability to lift 40 lbs. or more as needed
- Ability to climb stairs and ladders, bend, squat, kneel, push, pull, and walk throughout the shift
- Blueprint Reading Experience Is a Plus, But Not Required
- Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication skills
