Production Associate

About the role
This position offers the opportunity to work in multiple areas of our warehouse operations. You will play a crucial role in product assembly, inventory management, quality control, and shipping preparation, contributing to the success of our organization.
- Product Assembly: Assist with production of sensor technology products, including small electronics and components for the Waites system.
- Inventory Management: Receiving, processing, and storing incoming stock; maintaining accurate records of inventory levels and product locations.
- Quality Control: Inspecting products for defects and damages before shipping, ensuring that all items meet quality standards.
- Shipping Preparation: Preparing orders for shipment, including assembling containers and securing merchandise for transport.
- Warehouse Organization: Keeping the warehouse clean and organized, sorting recyclables, and managing the layout to optimize space and efficiency.
- Data Entry: Entering corrections and updates into inventory management systems as needed.
- Customer Delight: Deliver exceptional service internally and externally. Be a positive addition to team morale—delighted coworkers lead to delighted customers.
- Carry out additional responsibilities as needed to support business objectives.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Warehousing, Shipping/Receiving, Production, or related fields.
Skills
- Working with small components and circuit boards.
- Dexterity and comfort working with your hands.
- Competent computer skills with the ability to learn shipping software.
- Flexibility to adapt to last-minute changes.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize work.
- Proficiency in Google Workspace.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability and willingness to be trained and work in multiple roles within warehouse/production operations.
- Self-starter with excellent organizational and time management skills.
Working Conditions
- Walk/use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects or tools.
- Reach with hands and arms, climb ladders and stairs, crawl/kneel.
