About The Opportunity
A stable and expanding manufacturer of specialized electronic products is seeking a dependable Production Associate to join its operations team. This is a hands-on opportunity for someone who enjoys building, assembling, and producing quality products in a team-oriented environment.
Responsibilities
- Assemble components and finished products using written work instructions, assembly drawings, wire diagrams, and verbal direction.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and production equipment to fabricate, modify, and assemble parts.
- Cut, drill, machine, finish, and prepare raw materials to required dimensions and specifications.
- Operate equipment such as saws, drills, lathes, mills, and other manual or powered tools after appropriate training.
- Inspect work for accuracy, quality, and completeness throughout the production process.
- Follow established safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area using 5S practices.
- Learn new processes, equipment, and production techniques as business needs change.
- Work collaboratively with team members and communicate questions, issues, or quality concerns promptly.
- Help ensure customer orders are completed accurately and efficiently.
Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
- Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to follow written instructions, technical drawings, basic wiring diagrams, and verbal direction.
- Previous assembly, manufacturing, machining, electronics, fabrication, or production experience is helpful but not required.
