Production Associate

About the role

VEKA, a leading member of the global VEKA group and the world's largest extruder of vinyl for the window and door industry, is seeking dedicated Production Associates to support the production area and assist extrusion operators. You’ll be instrumental in measuring, cutting, and building wooden packaging units, visually inspecting for defects, and maintaining a clean work environment.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to safety requirements
• Visually inspect products for defects
• Transport finished products and/or scrap
• Maintain proper housekeeping in the work area

Requirements

• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred but not required
• Ability to read a tape measure, use saws, pneumatic nail guns, and various hand tools
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work

Pay

Starting salary from $18.50 per hour plus shift differential:

• Additional $1.00/hr from 3:00 pm – 7:00 pm
• Additional $1.50/hr between 7:00 pm – 7:00 am

Schedule

Rotating 12-hour shifts (2-2-3-2)
