About the role

Stupp Bridge Company Steel Girder Fabrication offers 2nd‑shift positions. This is a great opportunity for anyone wanting to learn a skilled trade, and we will train you on the job.

Responsibilities

• Prep steel plates and align jigs to receive plates from the prep area.
• Utilize hand tools and torches to grind, weld, and drill materials for assembly.
• Keep all shop employees supplied with materials and assist in the manufacturing process.
• Use both manual tools and automated devices to properly fit and assemble various materials.
• Perform quality inspection of materials and assembled parts.
• Operate a forklift to move and place material.
• Perform daily housekeeping.
• Work in various departments including paint, laydown, and assembly.

Requirements

• Ability to take accurate measurements with a tape measure.
• Ability to tolerate ambient air temperatures during all times of the year.
• Ability to operate a forklift to move and place material.
• Willingness to learn and be trained on the job.

Pay

Weekly pay is issued every Friday.
