About the Role

Reeb Millwork, an SBP Brand, is seeking a Production Associate to read routing and perform work as assigned by the department supervisor. This role involves sewing, cutting, clipping, hooking, or otherwise assembling materials to produce sub-assemblies or finished products from raw materials. You will attach labels and tags, pack finished goods, track production on schedule boards, and notify supervisors of any mechanical or material issues. The position also includes placing finished goods on designated pallets and maintaining a clean, safe work area.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble materials to produce sub-assemblies or finished products from raw materials.
  • Attach appropriate labels and tags to products and packages.
  • Pack finished goods into correct packages and boxes.
  • Track production on schedule boards.
  • Notify supervisor of any mechanical or material issues.
  • Place finished goods on the designated pallet.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a manufacturing environment working on production equipment.
  • Prior lumber experience desired; engineered lumber experience preferred.
  • Forklift experience and certification preferred but not required.
  • Basic math and analytical skills.
  • Computer literate (Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook).
  • Team Lead/Shift supervisor experience preferred.
  • Self-starter, proactive, and able to take initiative.

Work Environment

  • Bending, stooping, reaching, twisting, lifting, pushing, pulling, and moving items (requires consistently lifting a minimum of 50 lbs).
  • Responding to public address system announcements, directions from supervisors, and warning alarms.
  • Walking and carrying merchandise throughout the warehouse.
  • Identifying and reading tickets, SKUs, UPC labels, and reports.
  • Gripping to operate machinery or hand tools.
