Production Associate

About the role

The Production Associate is responsible for setting up and operating automatic or semiautomatic machines and related equipment in a continuous production/processing operation. This position reports to the Production Supervisor and is located in Cortland, NY.

Responsibilities

• Setup and operate all equipment in a related area to produce complicated components, subassemblies, and final assemblies from blueprints and work instructions.
• Work under the direction of supervisors, or more experienced personnel, with little supervision.
• Maintain accurate records, and logs and collect any necessary data for use by Engineering.

Requirements

• High School Diploma, G.E.D. or Equivalent
• 1+ years of production/manufacturing experience

Qualifications

• Ability to stand, sit, stoop, bend, walk, reach, squat, kneel, push, and pull for a minimum, 8 hours.
• Ability to lift, move or carry equipment up to 50lbs.

Pay

The hourly range for this role is $23.53/hour-$29.75/hour.

Schedule

Shift will be Monday - Friday 6:00AM – 2:30PM.
