About the role

This second-shift Production Associate role (Monday–Friday, 2:00 PM–10:00 PM) is responsible for producing high-quality products in a timely and safe manner while adhering to company standards and procedures. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and is committed to quality, safety, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble and inspect products through machine operation, following written and oral procedures.
  • Perform machinery startup and shutdown, and set up tools using jigs, fixtures, and attachments.
  • Maintain proper machine control settings to ensure optimal performance.
  • Collect statistical data and maintain accurate documentation for production processes.
  • Conduct regular inspections of products to ensure they meet quality standards.
  • Identify, report, troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to product quality or machinery operation.
  • Meet productivity goals consistently and demonstrate a proactive approach to work.
  • Perform housekeeping duties, including 5S and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM).
  • Promptly report any abnormalities in product quality or machinery to the Team Leader.
  • Understand and comply with Quality Management System (QMS) policies and procedures.
  • Understand and comply with Environmental Management System (EMS) policies and procedures.
  • Adhere to all safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Team Leader or Management.

Qualifications

  • Willing and able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Flexible to work overtime, often with short notice, and to adapt to shift work.
  • High School Diploma, GED, or vocational/technical certification preferred.
  • Previous manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Experience operating electrical and mechanical manufacturing machinery preferred.
  • Inventory control experience is a plus.

Physical Requirements & Work Environment

  • Lifting up to 50 lbs. (75 lbs. with assistance).
  • Standing or sitting for long periods.
  • Performing repetitive motions.
  • Working in a manufacturing environment with associated hazards.
